David Nalley is the new C.E.O. of Steam Way International, now based out of Jackson, Wyoming. He and his wife Judy also own and direct operations of their carpet and upholstery cleaning business, Nalley Steam Way LLC, in Jackson. After cleaning carpets with his father, Jim Nalley, since 1968, he purchased the business in 1980. Judy brought her administrative talents to the business when they married in 1990. David is certified with the IICRC (an early certification number of #920) and is a Master of Textiles, Master of Restoration, Master of Fire and Smoke Restoration, plus has 12 other certifications. He is one of the original members of Steam Way’s “True Blue Training Crew”. His first association with Steam Way was in 1968 when Clark G. Seabloom owned it and his father, Jim Nalley, was one of the first distributors. At age 16 David began training new business owners in carpet cleaning who bought their machines from his father. Today, his business utilizes eight Steam Way Legacy 2100’s: six are in vans, one is permanently installed in his rug cleaning plant, and one is a backup unit. The 2100’s have been excellent investments with some of the machines having given him over 6000 hours of reliable service.
